I finally hooked my new hard drive up to my computer. And for some odd reason I'm really looking forward to organizing all of my files on my computer. Yes, I realize I'm odd.

Well at least I'm trying to write. I keep procrastinating. I guess that's why I'm posting in here. But my fic is over 8000 words now, makes up for all the short five I wrote for the fifty fics challenge, of course I need to finish it first.

I'm at work now, though I have no idea where this app will say I am at. Waiting for my pizza to cool a bit so I can eat and trying to think creatively so I can work on my fix tonight.

Hi! So I may end up posting in this more often now. I had to get a new iPod because my old one died, so I got a touch and now I can post to my livejournal from the touch... Which is pretty fun ... Except the little keyboard is kind of small so I know there are going to be errors

Author's Notes: This is by far the shortest fic I've ever written. The
entire concept for this fic came out of our chat yesterday while we were
frantically counting the number of fics we had for this challenge and
trying to finish our fics. Once we realized that we were going to be
short a few fics, we had an idea. A series of drabbles or ficlets about
moments of Gil and Cath's life together in Vegas. So expect to see a few
fics in the Moments In Vegas challenge pop up today... And if anyone
would like to write a Moment in Vegas, feel free. It's kind of a fun way
to use those little ideas that come to mind that aren't really full
fledged fics. Thanks to Jac for looking over this for me and giving me
the okay to post. I'm a bit nervous, since it's short and I've never
written a drabblesque type of fic. And lots of thanks for the title... I
really hate titles.

So I'm finally getting back to things. I've never been good at updating this, and I'm sure I'll never be the best at it, but there's always hope.

Somehow I got talked into doing a 50 fics challenge for Marg's Birthday this year. I don't know how, because the other ones took a few months of preparation and writing, and now we have 15 days. So we'll see how that goes.

Ok... it's official. Moving sucks. I'm sore and I still have more stuff to pack. Ugh... I highly recommend not moving halfway across the country.

So... I'm moving. I know I've said before that I was going to, but I've actually rented the truck this time. May 31 I load the truck and on June 1st I'm moving to Florida. Scary. And I know I have tons of things to do before then... which I'm not really looking forward to. I don't like to pack. :-) But I guess I'll get used to it.

I've completely forgotten about this. Well, maybe not completely, I just put off updating. Since I've last posted, I now have a new nephew. Born 6 weeks early. But he's doing good, up to 7 pounds now, and he's just cute. His name is Joshua, and I'm going to have to make the pilgrimage down to Florida to see him soon.

I'm sitting here waiting for the mechanics to come to the house. I went outside yesterday to get in my car, and someone left the passenger side of the car open about 3 inches and killed my battery. I have no idea how this happened. Well, it was probably some kid. I know I didn't do it, cause I was the only one driving the car and I got out on the driver's side...

General annoyances, such is my life.

Took make up for that annoyance, I bought myself an iPod yesterday, it should get here on Friday.

I'll try and keep a bit more up to date here.... but I'm not going to promise anything. :-)

I know it was a while ago... finally got around to trying to find the cord for my camera. I apologize for the quiality of the picture. Have you every tried to take a picture of your leg? It's not easy, and you can't see where you are, unless you're a contortionist. I'm not.

I'm going to see Def Leppard again. I've lost track of the actual number of times I've seen them in concert. But, nevertheless, I'm going again, and I got 3rd row seats. I'm quite excited. And I'm buying tickets this weekend for another show. (hopefully I wont be fired from work for purchasing them while I'm at work... but if I'm fired I can draw unemployment.) :-)

Well I already know how to cook. And I actually like to cook. But I'm going to a cooking class tomorrow. It's a taste of home thing. I've never been to anything like that before, so I'm looking forward to it.
